Do you want to be the mastermind behind AkzoNobel's trade channel growth?
We're looking for a strategic Channel Manager Trade to drive sales and brand preference for our professional paint brands through a strong network of partners.
This is a pivotal role where you'll develop and execute channel strategies to achieve ambitious growth targets. You'll leverage market data and customer insights to define category drivers and craft winning promotional plans.

What do you need to have to be successful in this role?

  • A Master's degree in Marketing or equivalent experience.
  • 4-5 years of experience in channel management, category management, or trade marketing.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into strategies.
  • Excellent communication, persuasion, and teamwork skills.
  • A passion for driving commercial results.

Here's a glimpse of what you'll do:

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to build a winning channel strategy for AkzoNobel brands (Sikkens, Herbol, Trimetal, Polyfilla Pro).
  • Develop and implement initiatives to grow market share, sales, margin, and brand preference across trade channels.
  • Analyze market trends and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Manage relationships with key partners like the Sikkens Center Franchise Organization.
  • Ensure optimal brand experience for customers across all channels.
